PLAYER & COACH DEVELOPMENT TEAM

Our Player & Coach Development Co-ordinators focus on all aspects of club, team, player and coach development on and off the pitch. Our focus is to create the best overall environment we can for players to develop on and off the field.

TECHNICAL DIRECTORS

BBFC has engaged highly skilled technical directors to support our coaches across junior age groups:

Technical Director – Male & Female 8s to 11s

Geoff Holden from SSFA Academy will attend all Monday night training sessions to help guide coaches. This will ensure all players have good opportunities to develop. Since his retirement from a very successful career with Transgrid Geoff works as a full-time coach with the SSFA Academy and has charge of the SSFA WNPL2 2nd grade in 2019 & 2020.

Geoff has coached extensively at SSFA over the past 6 years after having coached a number of different teams at BBFC including under 16A, W30, 21s and others.His sons have been involved at BBFC over the years meaning Geoff has an excellent understanding of the club

Morgan Maxwell recently completed a Bachelor of Public Heath, majoring in Epidemiology and started her Masters of Teaching in 2020. Morgan has played for 19 years and has over 100 first grade games at SSFA under her belt. Some of her coaching highlights are:

– Obtained Skills Acquisition and Game Training Certificate in 2015/16

– Obtained C licence in 2019

– Coached WNPL U15’s SSFA in 2017 and 2018

– Previous coaching role at Sports Kickstart in 2019

– Current coach at Sydney FC Academies

– Coach at various clinics in the Sutherland Shire

BBFC has engaged SSFA Academy to run the following clinics at Lakewood City Reserve during 2020. We have negotiated great prices for these extra user pays options:

• Pre-Season Clinic for Under 6s & 7s – details to follow
• Friday Clinic for 8s to 13s – over Friday Nights during the season from 6pm to 7pm – details to follow
• April School Holiday Clinic – over 3 mornings – details to follow
• July School Holiday Clinic – over 3 mornings – details to follow
