The Bay & the Community

Just as important as the enjoyment the club provides its members is our contribution back to the community. BBFC encourages its members to support the community in many ways including volunteering to help the club, promoting local events, supporting local community groups etc. In the past the club has supported numerous causes.

Sutherland Titans FC

Since 2011 a large number of our members have volunteered to help the Sutherland Titans FC which provides the opportunity for people with a disability to particpate in mainstream sports. This work will be ongoing.

Club Chaplain

Another Important part of our community work is Club Chaplaincy through Brett White, one our over 45 players. Brett is happy to provide confidential support to club members with any personal problem – contact Brett on brett@kingsway.org.au .

Cambodia Tours

The BBFC end of season Cambodia tours commenced in 2012 and have proven very successful.

The tours provide participants with a great insight into life in Cambodia and the history of the region while also providing some very practical support to our nominated village. Common ground is established with the locals through soccer clinics and “friendly internationals”. Contact Brett White if you are interseted in joining a future tour –  brett@kingsway.org.au .

Lakewood City, Colorado/Sutherland Shire Student Exchange Program

We provide a base for this program to conduct meetings, picnic, fundraising events and more each year.
