The detail of 2023 fees:
- BBFC component of fees have increased by circa $5.00 on 2022 to cover increases in costs. SSFA, FNSW and insurance fees have increased in 2023.
- Junior fees continue to be heavily discounted and players 18 and under that are attending a NSW school are eligible for the NSW Active Kids voucher of $100
- The late registration fees cover increased time of club volunteers completing associated manual paperwork. When you register, our club volunteers need to confirm all your details, check your photo is loaded correctly in the system, check your residency and age (if a new player to SSFA) and ensure you are allocated to the correct team (which means checking with the team coach & manager). This all takes time before we can approve your registration in the system and why we need you to register by the 17th of February. The teams are locked in the system by SSFA from the 19th of February and SSFA approval must be obtained when adding any additional players to an already registered team. Team grading commences by SSFA from this date, so it is important that all players are registered before this date. Players that register after this date may NOT be approved depending on their past grade playing level. If you want to ensure you are placed in a team, you will need to register by the 17th of February. SSFA also charges the clubs a late registration admin fee for each player playing full-field football, this fee covers a very manual admin process to add players to an already graded team.
