SSFA Ground Status

SSFA inspects grounds and publishes any changes by 7:00am on match mornings. Under “Plan J”, some grades may play while others are postponed — and venues can change on the morning, so check right before you leave.

Council Wet Weather Line

Through the week the Sutherland Shire Council controls the grounds. Call their recorded ground-closures line. No training on closed grounds — the council can fine the club.

What is “Plan J”?

When grounds are unplayable, SSFA may run Plan J — instead of postponing the whole round, they play as much football as possible. Some grades may go ahead on the available grounds while others are postponed, and venues or kick-off times can change on the morning. So on a wet weekend, always check the SSFA app and the updates above before you travel.
