From the President’s Report
The “2024 season of rain” kicked off with our annual Sponsor Launch at major Sponsor The Prince in March, filled with enthusiasm and high expectations. Keen to deliver fulfilling member experiences and success on the pitch, the agenda was firmly set to engage with the membership on socially inclusive events at the Hangar, and improved finals football at the back end of the competition.

Our social calendar certainly delivered with numerous special events conducted at our clubhouse, which were well supported by the community, ranging from ladies days, to family afternoons, jumping castles and face painting to bubbles and canapes, presentation days to sunny afternoons on the river just enjoying the facilities and football – all needs were considered.
Through the support of patrons, grants and sponsors, we were able to improve our facilities further by completing the awning projects, new change rooms, bathrooms and upgrades to our kitchen facilities.
From a governance perspective, the Committee worked tirelessly all year to generate further initiatives, additional revenue, provide greater opportunities for the community and refresh our 5 year strategic plan, which will be presented back to the community at our Annual General Meeting later in the year.
On the pitch, we achieved great things, which ‘but for’ the bounce of the ball could’ve easily been far superior. Max White won the Golden Boot in the 2024 Green By Nature Shire Premier League competition, we won 2 minor premierships with the U16Cs and O45C1s, had 5 grand finalists in the 13Cs, W14Bs, 15Cs, 16Cs and 45Cs, and one Premiership winner in the U13Cs.

At the time of submitting this report, we still have a few season ending activities to go, with the annual golf day being held at The Ridge, and our Senior Presentation being held at Major Sponsor Club Central in Menai.
A special shout out to our wonderful sponsors, Whale Logistics, The Prince, Club Central, Wyze Finance, Brook Air, Fox & Wood, Custombuilt, Nugget, Axiom Spatial, Hahn Concreting, The Final Third, Jannali Physiotherapy, Perfect Form Fitness, Ink Signs and Wolfpack Woodfire.
Thank you to all of our players, parents, sponsors, partners, the association and everyone involved in helping us run this wonderful club and heart of the community. We aim to provide opportunities for all members to grow, reach their potential and feel included as part of something special. To that extent, I feel we’ve had a hugely successful year.
